Support responsible development that will enhance our community and rural character

I have been an alternate member of the Mequon Plan Commission since 2019. Mequon has strict development standards which I support. With close to 50 square miles of land, Mequon is the third largest city in Wisconsin by area. Landowners have a right to sell their property. City planners and the Plan Commission must ensure that developments are a good fit for neighborhoods and the community. Residents have made it clear via surveys that they support Mequon’s rural character. I agree. Mequon needs to develop carefully and responsibly. I have learned a lot about City planning over the last four years and will continue to listen to residents and be a thoughtful development steward for the District and City.
